Below, you will find some questions specific to registration for FurDU 2025. For other FAQs relating to the event as a whole, please refer to our General FAQ. The below questions will be merged with our main FAQ page after ticket release has concluded.
Follow this link to our new ticketing system, create an account, and populate your information. Registration launches at 7:00 PM AEST on the 1st of September 2024.
No. Pre-filling your details and entering your card information only prepares you for launch night. You will need to return on launch night to hit submit before your registration is actually complete.
You can still register as normal once registration opens – but you’ll be in a race with everyone who has pre-filled!
Although pre-filling shows as a transaction in online banking, we have not actually taken payment yet. This is simply a pre-authorisation with your financial institution and will disappear from your bank statement if you are unsuccessful in obtaining registration.
With the move to our new ticketing platform, we’re taking the approach of a staged release for better accessibility and to facilitate switching to a lower tier as the higher tiers sell out.
We do not take payment twice. The payment hold we place on your card will be used to pay for your ticket in the event you successfully obtain registration. If you are unsuccessful, the payment hold will be released and will disappear from your statement.
You can choose the Cancel option under your pre-filled booking at any time to release the hold and cancel the pre-fill. This will release funds immediately to your bank (although some banks may have a delay outside the control of FurDU.
Although we originally intended to release the accommodation link for Crowne Plaza with registration, hotel challenges mean we have had to push this back. Keep an eye on socials and your emails for distribution of the rooming link as soon as we’re ready to go live.
We are unfortunately unable to offer accommodation at Oaks as part of FurDU. Please see the Oaks website or contact the Oaks Gold Coast team on (07) 5648 3100.
Most fields are user-editable by going to “My Account” in our ticketing system. If you need to correct information which is not editable in this system, please reach out to [email protected] with your information.
Although we’ve had great success with RegFox for the last few years, this new ticketing platform will allow us to gain better flexibility, reduce overhead costs on each ticket, and better integrate functions moving forward.
There will unfortunately not be a second round of tickets made available, but you’re welcome to join the waiting list. Feel free to fill out your details when the waitlist goes live on the 1st of October and we’ll let you know when a ticket becomes available.
A limited number of day passes will be available for purchase during the convention at $65 per day.
From the Prefilled Bookings section on the Registration page, you can click the “Switch Booking Type” to change your booking to a lower tier. Please note this is one-way – you can only downgrade to previous tiers. The correct amount will update with your bank once your registration is successful, or refund if you are not successful in obtaining a registration.
When you select register in our ticketing system, you will see a slider titled “Number of Attendees”. You will be able to slide this across to the number of tickets you’d like to purchase in one transaction (Up to 6 tickets per order).
Once purchased on their behalf, your friend will need to create an account and confirm receipt of the ticket.
Transport passes provide you with unlimited travel on Translink/G:Link services in South East Queensland, excluding AirTrain. These are valid for whichever number of days you choose.
NFC badges enable your convention badge for NFC, and give you an easy way to share your Linktree/Socials with people you meet on the go. Simply have someone tap their phone to your badge encoded with the relevant link and it’ll open right up!
Patches are an outstanding iron-on patch featuring this year’s themed FurDU logo.
